Voice dictation for non-native speakers

Short answer

If you write in a language that is not your first, F5Type helps in two ways: it detects the language you are speaking automatically, and it cleans up what you say — removing filler, fixing grammar and punctuation — so the result reads like finished text. You can also pick the language yourself in Settings if detection guesses wrong.

Does F5Type understand accents?

It is designed for natural speech — rambling, pauses and accents included. Accuracy still depends on your microphone and surroundings; a quiet room and a headset help.

Can I switch between languages?

Yes. Speak in the language you want to write in; F5Type detects it. If it picks the wrong one, set the language in Settings. More in Voice typing in multiple languages.

Which style helps most?

Email and Message give your text a natural structure for the situation. Clean keeps your own wording but tidies it.
